About Us

Nature Bits team is an initiative to begin the digitalization of information of nature, especially flora and fauna. In collaboration with Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), Nature Bits team of Fstep Batch 18 will focus on Nature based especially environmental education event at Kuala Selangor Nature Park (KSNP) for public and school student including promote wetland biodiversity to public awareness via modern technologies and application.


Kuala Selangor Nature Park (also known as Taman Alam Kuala Selangor) was created in 1987. The area had been earmarked for a golf course development, however the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), together with the Selangor State Government, rescued the 800 acre coastal site from that fate and instead set up this lovely nature sanctuary. MNS has done a good job of attracting corporate sponsorship and financial support for the park which has helped to maintain it in good condition.


Our Objective:

  1. To digitalise database and categories the flora species at KSNP.
  2. To improve the accessibility of readily available information of the categories species of flora at KSNP.
  3. To increase the media outreach to improve awareness in the importance of the flora and its ecosystem.
