Kuala Selangor Nature Park (Taman Alam Kuala Selangor in Malay) is a haven for a wide variety of flora and fauna. The park consists of three (3) ecosystem – Mangrove Forest, Man-made Lake, Secondary Forest. The largest part of it is mangrove swamps which comprises over 200 hectares of coastal land. The park also the best place for bird watching as it also has more than 150 species of birds.


Who We Are?

Participants of FSTEP Batch 18 – Nature Bits team collaborating with MNS NGO on conservation of flora and fauna of Kuala Selangor Nature Park to develop environmental awareness that are able to create values to the community.

Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), a non-governmental organization (NGO) was established in 1940. MNS promotes Malaysia’s natural heritage & rich biological diversity to be effectively protected, managed and conserved for the benefit and appreciation of all Malaysians.


What We Do?

Improve visitors’ experience in Kuala Selangor Nature Park by obtaining information about flora on their surrounding with a simple scan of QR code.

To understand the species of flora at Kuala Selangor Nature Park and research information that we need by interviewing the park.
